Abstract

Orthognathic surgery corrects dental and skeletal deformities, restoring facial harmony and satisfactory occlusion. The diagnosis of facial asymmetries is essential for treatment, so the understanding of facial and bone analysis is necessary. Thus, the purpose of this work is to present the clinical parameters for the diagnosis of facial asymmetries and their classifications within the scope of the dentist's practice.
