Introduction: Coronary artery disease is caused by fatty deposits within the arteries. These deposits are formed by cholesterol, calcium, and other substances in the blood. This buildup is called "atherosclerotic plaque" or simply "plaque". However, these plaques can clog the coronary arteries and make them stiff and irregular. This is called "hardening of the arteries", requiring surgical intervention. Coronary artery bypass surgery is a procedure in which the surgeon uses a segment of an artery or vein to divert blood from the aorta to the coronary arteries. After the surgical process, a whole process of musculoskeletal and cardiopulmonary rehabilitation is necessary, where early mobilization (PM) helps to avoid complications and reduces hospitalization time. Development: is a bibliographic and descriptive review study, based on scientific search sites: Scielo, Pedro and Pubmed, with articles published between the years 2000 and 2018, indexed in Portuguese and English. And their descriptors used for the research were selected according to the DeCS and MeSH lists. The descriptors used for the research were selected according to the DeCS and MeSH lists. Conclusion The present study suggests respecting hemodynamic values, since it favors early mobilization and clinical evolution of patients after coronary artery bypass grafting, without producing adverse effects in these patients.
