Susceptibilidade antimicrobiana ao metronidazol de microrganismos isolados de periodontite crônica e agressiva
Abstract
O objetivo deste estudo foi avaliar a suscetibilidade microbiana ao metronidazol de microrganismos isolados de pacientes com periodontite crônica ou agressiva. As amostras foram obtidas de 50 pacientes com periodontite e os microorganismos foram isolados em meios de cultura seletivos e não seletivos e identificados por métodos bioquímicos e testados para susceptibilidade ao metronidazol. Os resultados evidenciaram a susceptibilidade ao metronidazol entre Gram-negativos anaeróbios e alguns susceptibilidade intermediária e resistência entre os Gram-positivos anaeróbios e facultativos.Palavras Chave: Periodontite, Bactérias, Metronidazol, Testes de Sensibilidade Microbiana.
