Abstract

Introduction: Cutaneous acquired melanocytic nevus are common lesions that begin to appear in childhood, increasing in number until middle age, when its incidence tends to decrease. They present as small patches, papules or nodules, usually smaller than 6 mm with uniform pigmentation and smooth edges, found in places exposed to the sun. In regard to histopathology, they are classified as junctional, intradermal or intramucosal and compound nevus. Objective: to show a series of 4 clinical cases, three intradermal melanocytic nevus and one compound melanocytic nevus, which affected three female patients and one male patient, who sought care for aesthetic purposes. Material and method: after clinical examination, in different patients, we opted for complete surgical removal of the lesions, which were submitted to histopathological evaluation to confirm the clinical diagnosis. Discussion: most patients who remove nevus have aesthetic complaints. However, it must be taken into account if the presence of these is harmful to the function or if it presents malignant characteristics. When planning the removal of a nevus, the patient's expression lines must be evaluated for a good post-surgical aesthetic result, considering the type of excision, suture and postoperative care. Conclusion: We obtained results similar to those found in the literature, the best aesthetic term in this case series was the association of the half-moon incision, variation of the elliptical shape, with the intradermal suture.
