Riesgos en el Uso de Rellenos para la Armonización Orofacial: una Revisión de la Literatura

La búsqueda de ideales estéticos ha llevado a un aumento en la búsqueda de intervenciones invasivas o no invasivas. El uso de rellenos dérmicos como alternativa “menos” invasiva y temporal ha mostrado un gran crecimiento; asimismo, se ha observado un aumento de las complicaciones. El objetivo de este trabajo fue analizar la producción científica más reciente sobre situaciones de riesgo que involucran el uso de rellenos orofaciales. Para ello se seleccionaron artículos científicos de la plataforma Medline en el período comprendido entre 2015 y 2022. El análisis del estudio muestra que el conocimiento anatómico y vascular es de suma importancia para el éxito del procedimiento, además de estos, el uso de materiales, Se destaca la técnica de aplicación y los cuidados con bioseguridad. Los profesionales deben ser conscientes de la posibilidad de riesgo y apoyo técnico para el tratamiento de posibles complicaciones.
