Abstract

This paper presents a clinical case report demonstrating the triple impression technique using addition silicone in three different consistencies, applied to prosthetic rehabilitation with a full crown on a posterior tooth. The purpose of this technique was to obtain an accurate replica of the preparation, focusing on the precision of marginal adaptation of the prosthetic piece. The technique details the sequential use of addition silicone in different viscosities, aiming to enhance the reproduction of the anatomical details of the preparation. Considered a modification of traditional techniques—especially the two-step method—this approach proved to be effective in clinical practice for cases that demand maximum precision, offering predictable and high-quality results.
